I'm always amazed how quickly people are ready to discard a holiday in order to get ready for the next.... the Christmas decorations that appear immediately after Halloween drive me crazy. I love autumn, and the lawns cleared of fallen leaves the day after they fall, and these pumpkins tossed in the field next to our house the day after Halloween made me wonder why people are in such a rush to be done with it.
